Many chains use a master link that allows the chain to be installed and removed by hand. While master links don't require traditional chain tools, over time, dirt and corrosion can make it difficult to separate them by hand. This dishing gauge is fully machined from big billets of aluminum to a final shape and accuracy that's as nice to use as it is to look at.
